Hiya
On this gallery I've put up my best pictures and some taken by relatives, along with a few slightly entertaining comments.
Most are now taken with an Olympus μ mini, although others are taken with an Olympus C500 Zoom and newer photos (from Jan 08) will be with a Panasonic Lumix TZ2.

I started with all things nautical after a trip on the SRN4 Hovercraft's. From then I found an interest in fast ferries, then conventional ferries and now the cruise industry! (Along with the Cruise ships of course!)
Am now a "junior deck officer" to give the job it's official-ish title.

 | 11th Nov 2008 | QE2 Final Southampton Sailaway
Taken from Mayflower Park on the evening of November 11th 2008 as the QE2 made her final sailaway from Southampton. (I only had a tree as a tripod - hardly the most practical of tripods, but it just about did the job!)
Pretty much all of the photos are fireworks, just with the QE2 in the foreground of some.
